This program is for people who want to exercise at home using only their bodyweight. It is ideal for beginners who do not want to invest in equipment, people who travel frequently, and anyone who prefers the convenience and privacy of home workouts. No gym membership or specialized equipment is required at any point in this program.

Sessions use a combination of standing exercises, chair-supported movements, bodyweight strength work, core stability exercises, and mobility cool-downs. Replace floor exercises with standing alternatives

Every floor exercise in this program has a standing or chair-supported version. If getting down to the floor is difficult, use the standing alternative without hesitation.

Use household furniture safely

A sturdy chair, a countertop, or a wall can provide support for balance exercises. Make sure any furniture you use is stable and will not slide.

Reduce repetitions in the first week

Start with fewer repetitions than suggested and build up gradually. Completing a shorter version of each exercise is always better than skipping the session.

Take longer rest periods

Rest as long as you need between exercises. There is no time pressure. The goal is to complete the session, not to rush through it.

Correct. This program uses only your bodyweight. No gym membership, dumbbells, resistance bands, or specialized equipment is required. A yoga mat is helpful for floor exercises but is not essential — a folded blanket or carpeted floor works fine.

A small clear area roughly the size of a yoga mat is sufficient for most exercises. You will also need a sturdy chair for some supported movements.
